In 10 years

    " In 10 years "

Thinking about my future is both terrifying and interesting. On the one hand, I have a lot of plans and goals that I want to achieve; on the other hand, I'm afraid of taking the wrong road or not accomplishing what I've set out to do. One thing I'm positive of, is that if God allows me to reach that age, I will make the most of my years and devote all of my energy to become a successful, powerful, independent, healthy, and most importantly happy woman.

I've always seen myself as a registered nurse who is still working hard and giving her all years from now. As a nurse, I will pay close attention to the health of my patients. To provide my best, I must be empathetic, kind, and always on the go. Aside from having a good profession, I want to spend my energy in doing things I enjoy, such as traveling and developing healthy connections with my family and my beloved. I want to keep developing as a person and learning new things. I want to be able to look back on my life and be proud of what I've done. I feel that if I put my mind to it, I can do anything in life. In the following ten years, I think of myself achieving all of my objectives and being the best version of myself.

Success requires time and patience, but it will pay off in the end. Although it may not appear so, the saying "Good things come to those who wait" is true. It may seem difficult at first, but the only way to feel proud of yourself in 10 years is to stop worrying about time and start focusing on the here and now. As many accomplishments, houses, vacations, and people I meet, I honestly think that life is measured by the moments that steal your breath away; hence, my purpose in the journey God has given me the opportunity to go through will not be just materialistic. Happiness will be the cause for my life, and I think that with an open heart and a strong intellect, nothing can stop it from being a part of me.

Change

 " Change "

Change is difficult. The process of change begins inward. It comes gradually, with risks, setbacks, and criticism. It necessitates introspection and a readiness to modify or alter one's conduct, beliefs, and attitudes. People can take action to bring about change by being conscious of their behaviors and the effects they have on others and the environment. And it is typically the fear of people around us that prevents us from taking the first step toward change.

However, it also opens the door to more freedom and opportunity. The choice to bring about change is difficult, and sticking on that road through putting in efforts is equally difficult and vital, but as they say, nothing good ever comes easy. While this process might be difficult, it can also be gratifying. It necessitates a dedication to one's own development and a readiness to stretch oneself. People can affect change in their communities and beyond by accepting change and working to continually get better.

You can't alter anything until you first acknowledge that you have the potential to do so. Nobody else can offer you what you need unless you acknowledge that you have the answers inside you.  In the end, each person is where change begins. We may improve the world for ourselves and people around us by accepting responsibility for our deeds and being deliberate in our decisions.

Before I tell you what happened today, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Lord for giving us a mother like you. Mama, you are the strongest woman I have ever met, you taught me that you can rise above your circumstances. I am very grateful to have you as my mother; your love, knowledge, and direction have appropriately formed me into a wonderful human. Your unending love and passion inspire me every day. I can't imagine my existence without you.

After a long and exhausting week, we decided to relax and enjoy our time today. It's a short getaway, but it is one of the most remarkable days I'll remember for the rest of my life. Because we have the opportunity again to bond with one another. I felt tired from the ride, but it vanished when I saw a smile on my mama’s face. Thank you, mama, for an unforgettable day. I couldn't have had as much fun if I wasn't with you.

Every day is a special day when I get to spend it with you. You are my inspiration and my strength, and you are the reason behind all of my accomplishments. Thank you for being there through it all, for loving me when I couldn't love myself, for being patient with my mistakes and thank you for reminding me that I am loved. I love you.

Labor Day

" Labor Day "

Labor Day is a holiday celebrated on May 1st each year in the Philippines. This holiday may be traced back to the late nineteenth century, when workers' rights movements were gaining traction across the world. Labor Day in the Philippines is not just a simple holiday; it represents the struggles and achievements of Filipino workers.

This Labor Day, we want to take a moment to celebrate the contributions of Filipino workers in all industries. Labor Day today serves as a reminder of the struggles and sacrifices made by employees to guarantee improved working conditions and fair salaries. More than that, it provides an occasion to recognize workers' contributions to the economy and society. Moreover, we are grateful for the hard work and dedication of our Filipino employees, who help us provide compassionate and respectful services.

Furthermore, recognizing Labor Day serves as a reminder that we may continue to push for policies that encourage fair job opportunities and improve working conditions not only locally, but also internationally. As companies develop globally, our lobbying must be matched by efforts from governments responsible for preserving the wellbeing of their citizens, particularly those working overseas, such as OFWs and mariners.

Down to the last ONE

" Down to the last ONE "

It is time to conclude another learning adventure, and this quarter has taught me many lessons that I will never forget. I now understand HTML frames and how to do community-based research, and I believe that I will perform better in the future. Based on these discoveries, I feel I can use my skills in almost every part of my everyday life and teach others what I've learned.

Our lesson for the third quarter was about HTML frames and community-based research. Throughout our 3rd quarter, we've experienced reporting in our class, which serves as a practice for me for future purposes. I understood portions of our lesson, but I was really agitated in our CBR due to certain little issues. But these things helped me build up my strength and gave me hope. Thank you to our teacher and especially to my groupmates who collaborated with me to complete our research.

For this quarter, I want to thank God again for helping me survive another academic journey. To my family and friends, who inspire me by motivating and supporting me. I'm hoping that my difficulties will lead to success and a better tomorrow. See you in the last quarter.

The Passion of the Christ

" The Passion of the Christ "

Holy Week is the week between Palm Sunday and Easter in the Christian church. It is marked with great seriousness as a time of devotion to Jesus Christ's Passion. The Triduum is a single celebration that concludes the Lenten season and culminates to the Easter Vigil Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord. During the Triduum, the following liturgical services are held: the Mass of the Lord's Supper. Good Friday, the day of the Lord's Passion.

During Holy Week, Christians remember the events that led up to Jesus' crucifixion and, according to their beliefs, his resurrection. Palm Sunday is marked with a blessing and palm procession. It also remembers Jesus' humble journey into Jerusalem to observe Passover, which was marked by crowds spreading their cloaks and laying palm leaves in his way. Maundy Thursday commemorates Jesus' establishment of the Eucharist at the Last Supper, which has since become a key feature of Christian devotion. Maundy Thursday is celebrated in Roman Catholicism by the priest washing the feet of 12 humble people, in imitation of Jesus washing the feet of his 12 disciples at the Last Supper. Good Friday remembers Jesus' crucifixion and death; it is typically a day of mourning, penance, and fasting. Holy Saturday, often known as the Easter Vigil, marks the traditional conclusion of Lent. Easter Sunday commemorates Jesus' resurrection, which occurred on the third day following his crucifixion, according to the Gospels. The narrative of Jesus Christ's resurrection reminds us all that no matter how much agony we endure, we have the opportunity to rise again. We've all heard that you receive what you focus on, and Easter is a great time to focus on rebirth.

Therefore, the Passion of Christ is strictly observed during Lenten Season. For God so loved so loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son. Jesus was crucified to death for our sins, and we people should repent for our sins and forgive those who have done wrong to us. Let us then spread and share the love of Christ to others.

A Day to Remember

    " A Day to Remember "

The high school day would have been commemorated two years ago, but because to the unexpected pandemic, it did not take place. Today, however, we are going to experience the most anticipated portion of our high school journey: the high school day with the theme: " Renewed commitment in defying odds to transcend heights of excellence and solidarity". There are programs planned to make the long-awaited day more exciting and pleasurable as we commemorate this milestone.

We began the day by attending the Thanksgiving Mass, and then the program began in earnest. Our school principal, schools division superintendent, and guest speaker welcomed us with a warm welcome address, message, and motivating speech. We also witness the guest speaker receive a plaque of recognition, as well as the acknowledgement of extraordinary teachers, employees, and retirees. The final and most enjoyable part was seeing some of the pupils as well as employees demonstrate their abilities and skills by performing various types of dance and playing traditional games.

The performances, games, and booths were fantastic. It was a very unforgettable high school day. A wonderful event that I will remember for the rest of my life.
